Benefits of drinking green tea

From the Chinese point of view, they already known about the medicinal benefits of green tea since ancient times. it is used it to treat everything starting from headaches to depression. there is some benefits get by drinking the green tea such as:

  • Reduced risk for heart disease
  • The antioxidants content in green, black, and oolong teas can help to block the oxidation of LDL (bad) cholesterol, increase HDL (good) cholesterol and as the result improved artery function. 
  • prevent cancer, the polyphenol content in the tea may kill cancer cell.
  • improve glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity in individuals with diabetes.
  • boosts the body’s metabolism.
  • cognitive impro (increased mental abilities in senior citizen).

INTERNATIONAL NO DIET DAY


Usually, our mind is fully with the intention to get nice body figure especially for women. They tends to go on diet in order to get what they want. Therefore, this special day is introduced as a celebration of body acceptance and body shape diversity. In addition, the purpose we celebrated this day is to raise the awareness of people about the dangers of diets (bad habit diet).


The Goals of the INDD:
1. Doubt the idea of one "right" body shape.
2. Raise awareness to weight discrimination, size bias and fatphobia.
3. Declare a free day from diets and obsessions to body weight.
4. Present the facts about the diet industry, emphasizing the inefficacy of commercial diets.
5. Show how diets perpetuate violence against women.
6. Honor the victims of eating disorders and weight-loss surgeries.
